• About Our School

The current Middle School structure consists of grades four, five, six, seven and eight with 550 students. The fourth and fifth grade classrooms follow a self-contained module, while grades six, seven, and eight employs a “team concept” of teaching. This better allows for interdisciplinary projects for students and team or grade level planning time for teachers.

The Middle School curriculum and assessments have been and are being developed to meet the New York State Learning Standards in all academic areas. Our Middle School Guidance program consists of career counseling and academic counseling, i.e. study skills, time management.

The Middle School offers a variety of extracurricular activities such as Chess Club, Robotics, Intramurals, Target Letters, Future Teachers, and a variety of Modified Sports teams. The primary focus of our school program is to develop a well-rounded educational program, providing every student the greatest opportunity for success in high school and our society.
